Monitored systems have the added security of quick response time anytime, day or night. In these harder economic times it is very important to ensure you have a security system to protect your property and loved ones. According to a recent article in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution property crime is on the rise. “Violent crime dropped in 2008 in half of the six communities examined by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and only one saw a noticeable spike. But in some neighborhoods, particularly East Atlanta, property crimes such as house burglaries and thefts have skyrocketed since 2006.” (1) How much exactly has property crime gone up? WSB News reported “Whether it’s break-ins at homes, businesses or vehicles, there was a 20% increase in 2008. (2) Now more than ever, a monitored security system is needed to keep expensive equipment or valuables protected from theft with rapid response 24/7.
